SC grants bail to Indrani Mukerjea in Sheena Bora homicide case

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused within the homicide of her daughter Sheena Bora.

A 3-judge bench headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao stated the trial will not be going to be accomplished anytime quickly.

The same conditions imposed on Peter Mukerjea will also be imposed on her,” the bench additionally comprising Justices B R Gavai and A S Bopanna stated.

Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi appeared for Indrani Mukerjea, who’s at present lodged on the Byculla ladies’s jail in Mumbai following her arrest in August 2015.
