School instructor held in Jharkhand for sexually assaulting boy

JAMSHEDPUR: A 40-year-old sports activities instructor of a non-public faculty in Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district was arrested on Monday for alleged sexual assault of a Class 8 scholar, who apparently tried to finish his life in its wake, a police officer mentioned.

The boy’s relations are recognized to have thwarted his try to die by suicide, following which he broke down and narrated the ordeal, the officer mentioned.

According to a grievance filed by his household at Kadama police station, the instructor assaulted the boy sexually on a number of events, together with as soon as final week.

In his grievance, the boy additionally mentioned that the instructor had threatened to fail him and his sister if he didn’t give in to his demand.
