Simplified Toll Payments: Annual FASTag Passes for Commercial Vehicles Coming Soon

Commercial vehicle owners can look forward to a simplified toll payment experience with the impending launch of annual FASTag passes. The government, under the direction of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Minister Nitin Gadkari, is preparing to introduce the passes for both state transport corporation buses and private commercial vehicles. Alongside this, the government is exploring possibilities to give land at a lower cost to private bus operators for the development of infrastructure along national highways. The annual pass will assist in the ease of business for commercial vehicle owners, similar to the existing program for private vehicle owners.
