As the countdown to Singhstha 2028 begins, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s leadership is driving unprecedented developments along Ujjain’s Shipra River. Relentless inspections ensure the city is primed for an influx of crores of pilgrims seeking moksha through sacred dips.

Spanning 29 km, the riverfront is undergoing a facelift with new ghats designed for non-stop pilgrim access. Secure pathways will ferry devotees from bathing sites to parking and exit points, a direct outcome of CM’s strategic oversight.

All sectors are fast-tracking works under Yadav’s watchful reviews. Approach roads from organized parking to ghats are a priority, promising streamlined arrangements for the global event.

Ap_CS Dr. Rajesh Rajoura’s recent visit highlighted progress. Fair Officer Ashish Singh and Collector Roshan Singh conducted intensive foot inspections: a 5-km stretch from Bhairav Temple bridge identified 18 road alignments to new ghats at Unhel. Phase two covered 36 km, marking 140 spots for connectivity.

Upholding PM Modi’s thriftiness ethos, officials used buses for eco-conscious travel. Detailed surveys targeted Lal Pul underbelly, Gau Ghat, Vedhshala rear, Vakankar Bridge, Jivan Khedi, Shani Temple zones—both banks, linking old and new infrastructure within 200m radii.

These precise markings guarantee intuitive access, with police gearing up for crowd and traffic protocols. Yadav’s proactive governance positions Ujjain as the epicenter of spiritual fervor, ready for a historic Singhstha.
