The plot unfolded 20 days prior: Hunarjeet was lured and abducted from a village store on March 4, with veterinary aide Manish allegedly pinpointing his spot for Scorpio-riding perpetrators.
Ransom handover at Rohtak IMT’s canal bridge led to the victim’s release in a deserted area. Seized items included two pistols, four empty cartridges, and the vehicle. Sonipat hospital treated the injured, while Murthal cops probed the scene.
