Enhancing India’s tri-service integration took a concrete shape on February 10 when 116 trainees from the Navy’s INS Tir and Coast Guard’s ICGS Sarthi visited the Army Air Defence Centre and its museum. This initiative in New Delhi aims to forge stronger operational linkages across the armed forces.
Trainees received comprehensive briefings on air defense operational paradigms, including unified combat frameworks, joint exercise dynamics, and innovative countermeasures against aerial incursions. The program emphasized the imperative of inter-service harmony for effective mission success.
Exploring the museum, the group marveled at the air defense corps’ storied past—its technological evolution and battlefield triumphs. Structured interactions and expert talks facilitated a vibrant exchange of ideas, nurturing cross-domain learning and camaraderie.
Such collaborative efforts, as noted by the Army, are pivotal in building a cohesive fighting force. They enhance preparedness for hybrid warfare, ensuring swift, synchronized actions that safeguard national interests amid rising geopolitical tensions.
