Tamil Nadu has made it necessary for abroad and home passengers, besides these from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and the neighbouring Puducherry union territory to have an e-pass to be allowed entry into the state. The transfer comes within the wake of a spurt in coronavirus instances in states like Maharashtra and Kerala, whilst Tamil Nadu has been witnessing a rise within the variety of new infections over the previous few days.

A Government Order to this impact was issued not too long ago by the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Travellers visiting the state after producing an e-pass enable the federal government to hint them or their contacts if that they had examined Covid-19 optimistic throughout their keep in Tamil Nadu.

According to the G.O dated March 4, an auto e-pass is necessary for all worldwide and home passengers from different states and union territories.

However, these from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry have been exempted.
