Bengaluru police have arrested three individuals, including two teachers, following allegations of gang-rape against a college student. The incident involved a physics teacher, a biology teacher, and a friend of the teachers.
The victim reported being blackmailed and subjected to multiple assaults. The accused have been identified as Narendra, Sandeep, and Anoop. Narendra, the physics teacher, allegedly befriended the student before assaulting her at Anoop’s residence. He is reported to have threatened her with serious consequences if she spoke about the incident.
Later, Sandeep threatened to expose the victim’s photographs if she refused to comply with his demands, and subsequently participated in another assault at Anoop’s residence. The victim’s parents sought help from the State Commission for Women, leading to the registration of a case and the arrests at the Marathahalli police station.
