Three govt officers useless as automobile plunges into gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda

BHADERWAH/JAMMU: Three officers died and yet another was critically injured when their automobile skidded off a street and plunged right into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Monday, police stated.
The automobile was carrying a staff of the Roads and Building division when it met with the accident close to Assar on the Batote-Kishtwar nationwide freeway round 10.45 am, native Station House Officer Bhuvinder Kotwal stated.
He stated the automobile rolled down 200 metres into the gorge, ensuing within the loss of life of Executive Engineer Rafiq Shah of Poonch, Assistant Executive Engineering Kamal Kishore Sharma of Udhampur and driver Mohd Hafeez of Doda.
Superintending Engineer Suresh Kumar was critically injured within the accident and was shifted to a hospital, the SHO stated.
He stated a preliminary investigation instructed that the accident occurred as a consequence of low visibility due to foggy situations and heavy rainfall.
