TMC councillor shot lifeless by unidentified miscreants in WB’s Panihati

NORTH 24 PARGANAS: A Trinamool Congress (TMC) councillor was shot lifeless by unidentified miscreants in Panihati Municipality of West Bengal, the police stated on Sunday.

Anupam Dutta, the TMC councillor of ward quantity eight of Panihati Municipality in North 24 Parganas district was shot lifeless by miscreants on the bike, CP Manoj Kumar Verma, Barrackpore Police Commitionarate stated.

There had been 4 miscreants on the bike. A bullet has hit the sufferer’s head, the police stated.

Dutta was rushed to the hospital in essential situation. The physician on obligation declared him introduced lifeless, the police added.
