MUMBAI: RPF constable Chetansinh Chaudhary, who shot lifeless his senior and three passengers on board a shifting practice final month, has been dismissed from service, an official mentioned on Thursday.
The order to sack Chaudhary was issued on Monday by Railway Protection Force (RPF) senior divisional safety commissioner, the official mentioned.
As per the official, Chaudhary was concerned in not less than three discipline-related incidents prior to now.
Chaudhary (34) is accused of gunning down his senior officer, Tikaram Meena, and three Muslim passengers when the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express was close to Palghar station on the outskirts of Mumbai within the early hours of July 31.
The three passengers, Abdul Kadar Mohamed Hussain Bhanpurawala, Sayyad Saifuddin and Asgar Abbas Shaikh, have been travelling in several bogies of the practice.
Chaudhary was later arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
The motive behind the chilling crime continues to be not clear.
Chaudhary first shot lifeless RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector Meena and a passenger in B5 coach together with his computerized service weapon.
He then gunned down one other passenger within the pantry automobile of the practice and yet one more traveller in S6 coach, in line with GRP.
Chaudhary is now in judicial custody, the official mentioned.
