Tripura’s leadership under CM Manik Saha is firing on all cylinders, but the opposition CPI-M remains mired in pipe dreams of toppling the BJP, according to the Chief Minister’s pointed remarks Friday.
During his speech at the BJP’s youth rally ‘Yuva Shankhnad’ in North Tripura’s Dharmanagar, Saha rubbished Left expectations of BJP rifts. ‘They’re eyeing a Left Front return, blind to our transparent governance and welfare drive,’ he stated.
Proudly, Saha touted 347 national awards and top spots in deregulation, earning PM Modi’s praise at a national meet. ‘Even large states should follow our model,’ the PM reportedly said.
The CM reminisced about late Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, a cultural icon and Dharmanagar visionary who died last year. ‘His abrupt exit is a huge setback; he loved Jatra theater and holistic development. We’ll honor him by finishing his work.’
Saha credited Modi for Northeast peace, noting how travel once demanded escorts but now feels safe. He slammed the opposition’s power grab, accusing them of pacts with violence-tainted elements. ‘Power lust blinds them to public service.’
From early mornings to late nights, BJP works tirelessly. Saha urged youth to recognize true progress over opposition negativity, positioning Tripura as a national exemplar of development under BJP rule.
