The BBC’s editing allegedly made it appear that Trump was calling for violence, when in reality, his speech focused on encouraging supporters to cheer for lawmakers at the Capitol. Both leaders took responsibility, with Turness emphasizing that while mistakes occurred, the notion of institutional bias within BBC News is unfounded.
