Two earthquakes hit J&K’s Doda; whole 13 tremors in 5 days

JAMMU: Two delicate earthquakes struck Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officers stated.
The tremors of magnitude 2.9 and three.4 have been reported inside a span of over four-and-a-half hours within the morning, they stated.
With this, a complete of 13 earthquakes having delicate depth had hit Doda, Kishtwar, Katra (Reasi) and Udhampur districts of the Jammu province since Tuesday.
There was no report of any lack of life or injury to property, the officers stated.
They stated the epicentre of the primary earthquake, which occurred at 4.32 am, was 26 kilometres south west of Bhaderwah city at latitude of 32.87 levels north and longitude of 75.46 levels east at a depth of 10 kms.
It was adopted by one other tremor at 9.06 am, 5 kms southeast of Doda city.
The quake hit at a latitude of 33.10 levels north and a longitude of 75.57 levels east at a depth of 5 km, the officers stated.
