UP: Computer trainer molests girl faculty college students at govt school, headmaster amongst 3 booked

SHAHJAHANPUR: A computer trainer at a authorities school proper right here allegedly molested 12 women along with some Dalit faculty college students, law enforcement officials said on Sunday.
The accused computer trainer Mohammad Ali, headmaster Anil Kumar and assistant coach Sajia have been booked on this connection, they said.
Around 12 girl faculty college students, along with Dalits, studying in a junior authorities school in Tilhar police station house, had been allegedly molested by computer trainer Mohammad Ali, Circle Officer (Tilhar) Priyank Jain instructed PTI.
Initially, when some women complained about this to Headmaster Kumar, he did not take any movement, he said.
The CO quoted the FIR lodged by the village head Lalta Prasad stating that Sajia was moreover involved on this matter and on Saturday one different Dalit pupil was molested by Ali, after which the students went to their homes and educated their households about it.
Following this, the family members along with the villagers reached the varsity and created a ruckus.
The three accused have been booked beneath sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, the IPC and the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act, police said.
Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) of Kumar Gaurav said that he visited the varsity and as well as talked to the family members of the students and villagers.
Prima facie, the computer trainer seems to be at fault.
Gaurav said that the matter is being investigated and strict movement could be taken in opposition to those found accountable.
