UP man will get life sentence for raping Dalit boy in 2016

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A specific courtroom proper right here on Saturday convicted an individual of sodomising an eight-year-old Dalit boy about seven years prior to now and sentenced him to life imprisonment along with an incredible of Rs 30,000, acknowledged a courtroom official.

District Government Advocate Rajeev Sharma suggested PTI-Bhasha on Saturday that the Special POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act Court sentenced an individual named Khalid for the crime he devoted in July 2016 when the boy had been out to utilize a toilet.

Khalid was booked on the grievance of the boy’s father, Sharma acknowledged.
