Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the eve of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s jayanti with a stirring X post from Lucknow. Paying homage to the Dalit icon and Constitution draftsman, he underscored Ambedkar’s timeless wisdom on economy, education, and social justice.

‘Ambedkar’s every word inspires, especially his fiscal federalism ideas and call to educate, organize, and struggle,’ Yogi stated. Detailing Ambedkar’s scholarly life – India’s top-educated mind with a vast personal library – Yogi praised his relentless pursuit of knowledge.

As the nation’s inaugural Law Minister, Ambedkar embodied justice and reform. Yogi shared a poignant tale of Ambedkar’s kindness: covering sleeping helper Sudama with his coat on a cold night.

Yogi’s government mirrors these values by extending benefits to the marginalized – rations, shelters, toilets, medical aid, and ‘Gharouni’ deeds empowering women. Programs like scholarships, mass marriages, PM/CM housing, and Atal Residential Schools deliver top-tier education.

New and renovated Ambedkar hostels target Dalit students. UP’s welfare drive has elevated 6 crore-plus citizens from poverty, with ‘Zero Poverty’ as the next frontier.

Envisioning a united UP, Yogi implored residents: ‘Build home libraries, read voraciously, motivate your kids – only then will Babasaheb’s dream thrive.’ This resolve heralds a just, vibrant future.
