Uttar Pradesh elections sixth part: Over 36 per cent polling until 1 pm

LUCKNOW: Over 36 per cent voting was recorded until 1 pm within the sixth part of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls on Thursday.

Those who forged their votes within the morning included Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi, Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chowdhury, Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, minister Upendra Tiwari and former minister Narad Rai.

Interacting with reporters after casting his vote, the chief minister mentioned the BJP will get 80 per cent votes and the remainder 20 per cent will get divided among the many opposition.

The Samajwadi Party has pitted the spouse of the late Upendra Dutt Shukla, a former BJP chief, towards Adityanath.
