A heart-wrenching incident has emerged from the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, where a family claims their infant was taken and killed by monkeys. The incident occurred in Surajpur. The family reported that a group of monkeys snatched their two-and-a-half-month-old baby from his room. The infant was later found dead inside a water drum. The mother had been busy with domestic duties when the child disappeared. The family immediately began searching for the baby. The child was then discovered in a water drum on the roof of the house. The baby was brought to medical professionals, but unfortunately, was declared dead. The police have been notified and are investigating the case. The family believes that monkeys, known to frequent their home, were responsible for the tragic event.
