Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken command, directing officials to accelerate rescue and relief efforts. The army, SDRF, NDRF, the district administration, and related teams are on the ground, actively involved in the rescue efforts. The Chief Minister is in constant communication with senior officials and is receiving regular updates on the evolving situation. Approximately 50-60 people are reported missing. The cloudburst led to flooding that washed away numerous homes in Dharali. The army reported that a massive landslide occurred in Dharali at 1:45 PM, resulting in the sudden accumulation of debris and water in the settlement. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed. The authorities are working tirelessly to support the affected citizens during this crisis. A contingent of over 150 soldiers are involved in rescuing people.
