Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra mentioned this at a media briefing. The Indian delegation on the SCO summit on this historic Uzbek metropolis of Samarkand was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Uzbekistan handed over the rotating presidency of the grouping to India for the 12 months 2022-23.
