Farmers burnt copies of the three contentious Central farm legal guidelines at many locations in Punjab on Sunday on the event of Holika Dahan, when bonfires are lit on Holi eve symbolising the victory of excellent over evil.
On the decision of Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella physique of farmers unions spearheading the agitation in opposition to the farm legal guidelines, farmers set copies of the legal guidelines on hearth and demanded that the three legislations be repealed.

Thousands of farmers, primarily from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, have been tenting at Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border of Delhi with their primary demand of full repeal of the three farm legal guidelines and a authorized assure for the minimal help value on their crops.
