Woman raped, stabbed by two males in Gurugram; one held

GURUGRAM: A 24-year-old lady was allegedly raped and stabbed by two males within the DLF Phase 3 space right here, police stated on Tuesday, including one of many accused was arrested.

The incident came about on Monday night time at Nathupur in DLF Phase 3, police stated.

The sufferer’s husband, an autorickshaw driver, filed a grievance at DLF Phase 3 police station.

“On Monday, I got a desperate call from my wife. She told me she had been stabbed. I asked her about location but she could not tell me a specific area. Then she asked me to reach home. When I reached home, she told me she was raped by two and one of them stabbed her,” stated the grievance.

The sufferer is just not match for giving assertion, police stated, including that on the idea of her husband’s grievance, an FIR was registered towards two individuals beneath IPC sections 376 (rape), 506 (prison intimidation), 324 (grievously damage), and 34 (frequent intention) on Tuesday.

Police stated they’ve nabbed one of many accused, Anil Thakur, a local of Bihar, and the probe is underway.

“We have arrested one of the accused and are interrogating him,” Gurugram Police Commissioner Kala Ramachandran advised PTI.
