Woman throws acid on ex-lover at his bridal ceremony with one different lady in Bastar

JAGDALPUR: A 22-year-old lady was arrested for allegedly throwing acid on her ex-lover when he was getting married to a distinct lady in a village in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district, police talked about on Monday.

The accused was arrested on Sunday after her involvement inside the crime surfaced all through the investigation, talked about Bastar Additional Superintendent of Police Nivedita Pal.

“When the woman came to know about Damrudhar’s marriage, she planned the attack and stole acid from a chilli farm where she works,” the police officer talked about, together with the acid is used to clean the drip system inside the farm.

The investigation revealed that the accused lady disguised herself as an individual to cover her id whereas committing the crime, she talked about.

Earlier this month, police had arrested the ex-lover of a newly-married lady for allegedly planting a bomb inside a home theatre music system he gifted to the couple in Kabirdham district.

The explosion inside the instruments killed the lady’s husband and his elder brother.
