Following a landslide in Jankichatti along the Yamunotri Yatra route, rescue operations are still in progress. The SDRF, NDRF, District Police, and other agencies are working together on search and rescue efforts. Aerial surveys of the affected area are being conducted using drone cameras under the guidance of SDRF Commander Arpan Yaduvanshi. Live drone feeds are being used to identify potentially dangerous locations, according to an official announcement. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered his condolences in response to the landslide and guaranteed that the SDRF, police, forest department, and medical teams are offering support. The incident happened at Nau Kachi, about 3 km from Janaki Chatti on the Yamunotri Dham Yatra route. One injured person has been rescued and sent to PHC Jankichatti for medical treatment.
