Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched ‘Mission Shakti-5.0’ in Lucknow to further improve the lives of women in Uttar Pradesh, focusing on safety, education, and nutrition. He highlighted the progress made since 2017, emphasizing the shift from a state of insecurity to empowerment for women and girls. He acknowledged the improvements in the Anganwadi centers and the provision of educational tools like tablets for female students. The Chief Minister also spoke on the challenges faced regarding women’s employment and the judicial efforts to resolve these issues. Mission Shakti-5.0, starting on September 22, will build upon the previous successful phases. The state government plans to enhance the program through better collaboration across departments and a greater police presence on the streets, including maintaining the activity of PRV-112 vehicles.
