The Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir experienced a ceasefire violation by Pakistani forces on the Line of Control (LoC). Firing was reported from the Pakistani side in the Krishna Ghati area. The Indian Army responded with retaliatory action. Military readiness is high along the Line of Control. Further developments are awaited.

The ceasefire violation occurred during India’s Operation Sindoor. On Monday, security forces engaged in an encounter in the Kulgam area, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists. The area was secured by security forces, leading to the neutralization of the militants. Search operations continue based on intelligence reports indicating the potential presence of additional terrorists.
