Railway officials are continuously monitoring the work of the contractor on this. Now there are preparations to start a new line between Harkiakhal and Malhargarh soon. Right now, railway officials can soon take time from CRS for its inspection.

    As soon as green signal is given after inspection, no train from Chittor to Malhargarh will have to stop for crossing. Passengers’ time will also be saved and the train will not run late. The doubling work on the 132 km long Ratlam-Neemuch railway section is being carried out rapidly by dividing the entire track into separate sections.

    New line will start as soon as CRS permission is received

    So far, doubling from Ratlam to Namli and from Neemuch to Harkiakhal has been completed and the movement of trains on the new line has been started. Railway officials are preparing to conduct CRS inspection after the doubling between Harkiakhal and Malhargarh is completed in November itself. As soon as the green signal from CRS is received, trains will start running on the new line.

    First the goods train will be run on this track

    First goods train will run on it and then passenger train will run, also both the platforms are ready in Malhargarh. A new building of the station has also been constructed. Out of 13 bridges in this section, some work is left on 1 big and 1 small bridge, which will be completed in 10 days. The work of laying tracks at some places including the bridge and surrounding areas is in the final stages.

    Under the doubling, new buildings of Harkiakhal and Malhargarh stations were to be constructed, the length of the station was to be increased, foot overbridges were to be built and 27 bridges, including big and small, falling on this section were to be constructed.

    A little work is left on only two bridges between Harkiakhal and Malhargarh. CRS inspection has been done between Neemuch and Harkiakhal and now movement of all types of trains has started on the new line. In the second phase, the work of about 12 km long new line between Harkiakhal and Malhargarh has also been completed.

    7 to 10 days work left

    3 big and 10 small bridges have been constructed between Harkiakhal and Malhargarh. In this, some work is left on Retam river bridge and a small bridge near Chaldu. According to railway officials, 7 to 10 days of work is left. Along with the new line, electrification is also happening simultaneously. The installation and testing work of other equipment including laying of electric wires is in the final stage.
