Deepti Sharma scored 53 runs off 53 balls, hitting three boundaries. Sneh Rana remained unbeaten with 28 runs off 15 balls, including 2 fours and 2 sixes, which brought India to 269 runs for 8 wickets in 47 overs.
Due to rain, Sri Lanka got a target of 271 runs in 47 overs. Sri Lanka started well, with the opening pair adding 30 runs. At one stage, Sri Lanka reached 103 runs for 2 wickets. But Indian bowlers regained control and caused Sri Lanka’s innings to collapse. The whole team was all out after 45.4 overs with 211 runs.
Deepti Sharma was the most successful bowler for India. She took 3 wickets in 10 overs and gave away 54 runs. Sneh Rana and Shri Charni took 2 wickets each. Kranti Gaud, Amanjot Kaur, and Pratika Rawal took 1 wicket each.
