India’s Northeast Region Feels Impact of Myanmar Earthquake

Tremors were widely reported in Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland on Tuesday morning following a 4.7-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar. The earthquake’s location was near the India-Myanmar border, with its epicenter approximately 27 km southeast of Ukhrul in Manipur. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the earthquake’s occurrence at 6:10 am on September 30th.
