    Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent greetings to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Ukraine’s Independence Day. Zelenskyy, in turn, thanked PM Modi for his warm wishes. Zelenskyy praised India’s dedication to peace and dialogue. He expressed his hope that India would contribute to achieving peace.

    PM Modi, in his message, conveyed his best wishes to the people of Ukraine, assuring them of India’s support. He reiterated India’s consistent stance, favoring peace and supporting dialogue and diplomacy to find solutions.

    President Zelenskyy also shared PM Modi’s letter, thanking the Prime Minister for his greetings. He acknowledged the global efforts to end the war with lasting peace. Zelenskyy expressed confidence in India’s significant contribution to global security through diplomatic efforts, benefiting Europe, the Indo-Pacific and the world.
