    India’s highest Test score in England, 664 runs, was achieved at The Oval, London, on August 9, 2007. This remarkable feat involved significant contributions from Dinesh Karthik (91), Rahul Dravid (55), Sachin Tendulkar (82), VVS Laxman (51), MS Dhoni (92), and Anil Kumble (110). Though the match concluded in a draw, India secured the Test series victory.

    Historical data highlights other notable scores, including 628/8d at Leeds in 2002, 606/9d at The Oval in 1990, and 521 at Nottingham in 1996. Currently, India is competing in a five-match Test series in England, with the inaugural match taking place in Headingley, Leeds. India’s batting performance was exceptional, achieving a total of 471 runs in the initial Test. Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling in the second innings, where he took three important wickets, was crucial.
