    Two low-pressure zones in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are contributing to the potential for rain and strong winds across many states. Today’s Dussehra festival celebrations may be affected by the rain. Rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in Delhi today. The sky over Delhi will be partly cloudy on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Rain is forecast for October 6th and 7th.

    **Weather in Uttar Pradesh**

    The weather has shifted in Uttar Pradesh, with dark clouds filling the sky. Rain accompanied by thunder is expected in several districts of the state on Dussehra. The weather department forecasts a parade of monsoon clouds from Lucknow to Varanasi on Dussehra. The rain and thunderstorms are predicted to continue for the next three days in Uttar Pradesh. Some districts may experience heavy rainfall within the next 24 hours.

    **Weather Update for Bihar**

    The weather in Bihar changed dramatically on Wednesday, with rain in Patna and other areas. Rain is likely in numerous districts of Bihar during Dussehra. A heavy rainfall advisory is in effect for 19 districts in the state today. Jharkhand’s capital, Ranchi, and the entire state are likely to be overcast until October 3rd. The Dussehra celebrations may be impacted by rain in the state. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in select areas across 12 districts of the state on October 2nd and 3rd.

    **Areas to Expect Rain**

    Heavy rain is predicted in the Northeast and South India through October 4th due to cyclonic circulation. An alert for heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued for Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. Uttarakhand might see a return of the rain. On Dussehra, light to moderate rain is expected in several areas of the districts of Nainital, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh.

    **Himachal Pradesh’s Weather**

    Light to moderate rain, accompanied by lightning, is expected in some areas of Dehradun. Himachal Pradesh will also experience rain on Dussehra. Light rain is possible in many parts of the state through October 4th. Light to moderate rain is possible in certain areas on October 5th. Light rain is predicted in many locations, and heavy rain in some locations, on October 6th. Heavy rainfall is possible in specific regions of the state on October 7th.
