Due to average rainfall in the surrounding area, Yashwant Sagar lake is seen full to the brim.

    Highlights

Good rain has occurred in Indore as well as the surrounding areas. This has brought water in the channel that fills the ponds of the city. Water is also supplied from Yashwant Sagar and Bilawali ponds.

Naiduniya Representative, Indore (Indore News). It is a matter of relief for the residents of Indore that after the recent heavy rains, water is reaching the ponds of the city. Yashwant Sagar and Sirpur ponds have reached close to their capacity, while water is reaching Bilawali, Piplyapala through channels.

Good rain has occurred in Indore as well as the surrounding areas. This has brought water in the channels that fill the ponds. It is expected that by the time the rainfall in the city reaches the average, all the ponds in the city will be full.

Benefit is available in two-three km area

The water of Yashwant Sagar and Bilawali ponds is supplied to the city. Experts believe that even though the water of the remaining ponds is not used in water distribution, the area of 2-3 km around the ponds benefits from the availability of sufficient water in the ponds and the groundwater level in this area improves.

This is the condition of the ponds

Pond Capacity (in feet) Current Status (in feet) Yashwant Sagar 19 18.9 Sirpur Big 16 14.5 Sirpur Small 14.6 14.6 Bilawali 34 22.10 Pipalyapaala 22 14.8 Water filled in the pit became a mirror… but they did not feel ashamed

Indore, which has been crowned as the cleanest city of the country seven times, today has its head bowed in shame. Forget about the rest of the city, even the road in front of Indore’s fame-stem Rajwada is in such a bad condition that there are big potholes here. Rain has filled these potholes with water and turned them into mirrors.

Now the Rajwada keeps looking at its face in these mirrors with a sad face all day long. Along with this, it keeps cursing the Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, Collector Ashish Singh and Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma. The limit is that these responsible people pass by here almost every day, but despite seeing these mirrors in the form of pits, the responsible people do not feel ashamed.
