Ukraine experienced a devastating night as Russia launched an extensive aerial bombardment, deploying over 400 drones and 40 missiles. The attacks, which targeted several regions, resulted in numerous casualties. President Zelenskyy stated that the attack, in which six people were killed and 80 were injured, might have left more individuals trapped. This intense assault took place just hours after a phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, adding an element of international tension. Ukrainian defenses managed to intercept a significant number of projectiles. Zelenskyy called for international unity and a focus on diplomatic solutions, security assurances, and a ceasefire to stop the attacks.
