    Srinagar’s Lal Chowk, home to the iconic Clock Tower, witnessed a historic celebration of the 11th International Yoga Day. The event attracted a large turnout from across Jammu and Kashmir, including locals and tourists. The celebrations, replicated across all districts, were largely attended by students, reflecting the increasing popularity of yoga in the region and a shift towards healthier living. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the Udhampur celebrations, emphasizing yoga’s importance for peace and well-being. The BJP organized the event at Lal Chowk with the aim of promoting tourism and showcasing Kashmir’s peaceful environment. Students and tourists alike expressed their enjoyment and the benefits of yoga during the event. The celebration at Lal Chowk highlighted the positive impact of yoga and its role in promoting wellness and unity, building on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to celebrate International Yoga Day.
