In response to the controversy, Dr. Irfan Ansari has defended his son. He stated that the allegations against Krish are baseless and malicious. According to Irfan, Krish was at RIMS hospital to visit his teacher’s father. He explained that Krish offered assistance to some tribal families who sought help for their relatives undergoing treatment at RIMS, driven by humanity. He criticized the distortion of the event. He emphasized Krish’s character, education, and familial background as the grandson of a former MP. He also criticized the BJP, pointing out that his son was not involved in any of the negative actions that some people are accused of. He concluded by saying that his son merely saw a sick person and helped.
