Despite the postponement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to India, originally scheduled for December, Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office has issued a strong statement affirming their absolute trust in India’s security infrastructure. The office dismissed rumors suggesting security apprehensions as the reason for the delay, stating that efforts are actively underway with Indian counterparts to determine a new date. The statement highlighted the exceptionally strong relationship between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier this year, PM Modi had a cordial conversation with Netanyahu, congratulating him on the advancements of the Gaza Peace Plan, an initiative supported by US President Donald Trump. Modi praised Netanyahu’s leadership and indicated that the positive developments regarding hostage releases and humanitarian aid for Gaza were crucial steps towards lasting peace in the region. This diplomatic engagement also included Modi congratulating former President Trump on the success of the Gaza peace accord.
