Raipur. IT action continues in Chhattisgarh. The team is investigating the whereabouts of former minister Amarjeet Bhagat along with five public servants close to him. Among these, the premises of Sub Inspector Rupesh Narang have also been raided. This has been confirmed by Surguja Additional SP Puplesh Kumar.
In Raigarh, former minister Bhagat’s OSD Atul Shette, personal assistant Rajesh Verma, Shivpujan Agrahari (Gulu) and driver Mahendra Paswan are also under investigation. All of them are not only the rulers of the Bhagat family but are also stakeholders in some investments. During the raid of the IT team, everyone except Rupesh Narang, Rajesh Verma and Gullu were found at home.
The Income Tax Department is investigating all three. There are indications that the investigation will continue for a day or two until they are interrogated. Let us tell you that Rajesh Verma’s house is in Rajpur. Income tax officials arrived at 6.30 in the morning in 4 vehicles. The people present at the house are currently being interrogated.
