The Jagannathpur Temple observed the Rath Yatra festival on Friday with a day filled with elaborate rituals and spiritual fervor. The proceedings commenced with the Mangal Aarti at 4 AM and concluded with the Shyanam of the idols at 8 PM. The temple was filled with a sense of devotion as the deities, including Lord Jagannath, his sister Subhadra, and brother Balabhadra, prepared for their journey to Mausi Badi. The worship was conducted according to Vedic traditions in the presence of a large gathering of devotees.

The head priest, Rameswar Padi, detailed that the day began with the Mangala Aarti at 4 AM, followed by the Panchamrit Snan for the deities. Darshan of the deities was available at 5 AM, and various religious activities, including Bhog, Havan, Kirtan, and Aarti, were conducted until 2 PM. Then the deities were moved to the chariots for the Rath Yatra. Sudarshana Chakra Garuda, Lakshmi Narasimha, Balabhadra Swami, Subhadra Mata, and Lord Jagannath Swami were placed on the chariots by 2:30 PM. Following this, the deities were adorned. Devotees performed Shri Laksharchana from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. The Achit Pushpa was offered to Lord Jagannath Swami, and the Aarti Jagannathashtakam Gita was recited. The chariot was then pulled, reaching Mausi Badi by 6 PM. Special darshan for women in sarees was arranged from 6 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by the deities entering the Mausi Badi temple. The Shyanam ritual, accompanied by 108 Mangal Aartis, took place at 8 PM.

The main priest emphasized that the pujas were conducted according to age-old customs, and the Mahabhog offered included 56 different varieties of food, encompassing rice, lentils, vegetables, kheer, laddus, and fruits.
