The state government is committed to improving banking access in rural areas, as stated by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. This initiative is designed to support financial inclusion and help farmers, business owners, and ordinary citizens. Enhanced banking services are intended to accelerate economic development and ensure better execution of government initiatives.

Three new branches of the Chhattisgarh State Rural Bank were virtually opened in Jashpur district. These branches are located in the villages of Ara, Kudekela, and Chichli. The Chief Minister also unveiled the bank’s 12th annual report during the event.

The launch is expected to positively impact over 44,000 rural residents in 23 gram panchayats and 48 connected villages. Local access to banking facilities will save time and resources.

In addition, 268 Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras are already functioning in the district, with approximately 15 crore rupees in transactions processed. These centers will expand to cover all panchayats by Panchayat Day, offering essential services like banking, insurance, and government programs to villagers within their own communities.
