Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has recently spearheaded a significant development initiative in Jashpur district, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for 13 projects worth a total of Rs 40.89 crore. This extensive project rollout is poised to bring about substantial improvements in the Farsabahar region and across Jashpur, reflecting a strong focus on inclusive growth.

Four completed projects were officially opened, amounting to Rs 4.16 crore. These infrastructural improvements include the construction and upgrading of key rural roads, such as the Maskamara to Lavakera main road, the Ambakchar approach road, and the Mundadih approach road. These road projects are vital for enhancing local connectivity and accessibility.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for nine new projects, valued at Rs 36.72 crore. The most significant of these is the Pamsala–Saraïtola road project, a 11.50 km stretch being built at a cost of Rs 23.96 crore. The new developments also incorporate essential facilities like a Sludge Treatment Plant (Rs 31.38 lakh) and a Rest House in Farsabahar (Rs 1.72 crore). A major emphasis is being placed on empowering tribal students through education, with the construction of several Post-Matric and Pre-Matric Tribal Boys’ Hostels, each costing between Rs 1.52 crore and Rs 1.91 crore.

This comprehensive development package highlights the government’s commitment to grassroots progress, touching upon critical areas such as rural infrastructure, sanitation, educational access, and tribal community empowerment. The Chief Minister emphasized that these projects are integral to the vision of ensuring that development reaches every village in Jashpur.
