Union Minister Lalan Singh dropped a political bombshell in Lakhisarai, outright rejecting any possibility of RCP Singh’s rehabilitation in JD(U). ‘Party weakeners have no space here,’ he told reporters, addressing swirling rumors head-on.

Praising the organizational backbone provided by loyal activists, Lalan credited Nitish Kumar’s guidance for JD(U)’s upward trajectory. This statement comes at a time when internal dynamics are under scrutiny in Bihar.

Turning to national priorities, Lalan spotlighted a landmark event: a 2026 roundtable under his chairmanship, convening diplomats from over 80 countries to propel seafood exports.

Highlighting India’s stature as a top aquaculture hub, he envisioned this platform fostering groundbreaking trade links. ‘Expanding our seafood outreach will unlock immense opportunities,’ Lalan affirmed.

Detailing his recent interaction with Nitish Kumar, Lalan evoked their 38-year association. ‘He made time for us en route to Delhi’s Cabinet session,’ underscoring mutual respect.

Regarding Nishant Kumar’s entry into politics, Lalan maintained it’s Nitish’s call. He applauded Nitin Nabin’s BJP post, confident of his steering capabilities.

On elections, Lalan attributed NDA’s victory to pro-development sentiments. In PM Modi’s developed India blueprint, Bihar emerges as a key player. ‘We’re past backwardness; poised for leadership in nation-building,’ he asserted.

Lalan’s pronouncements blend party assertiveness with forward-looking policy, shaping Bihar’s narrative.
