Jharkhand marked its 25th Foundation Day with profound respect for Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his 150th birth anniversary. In Chaibasa, a ceremony was held at the bus stand, where officials and citizens gathered to pay homage to the tribal icon at his statue.

The commemorative event was attended by state minister Deepak Birua, overseeing Revenue, Land Reforms, and Transport. He was joined by Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar, Superintendent of Police Amit Renu, Zila Parishad President Lakshmi Soren, Deputy Development Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kerketta. A host of other district officials, local leaders, and members of community groups also participated in honoring ‘Dharti Aba’.

Minister Birua addressed the occasion, stating that reaching 25 years, alongside celebrating Birsa Munda’s 150th birth anniversary, is a moment of collective pride. He highlighted that, much like youth, this is a period defined by growth and the assumption of responsibilities for the state’s future. The minister affirmed the government’s ongoing dedication to initiatives that promote self-reliance among the people of Jharkhand.

The celebration concluded with well wishes for the 25th Jharkhand Foundation Day, extended by Minister Birua and the assembled officials to all residents.
