The Jharkhand Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, approved 26 proposals in its recent meeting, as announced by Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel. The meeting saw the approval of ₹57 crore for a women’s college in Khunti, falling under the purview of the Department of Higher and Technical Education, and ₹38.76 crore for a degree college in Ichagarh. The cabinet also sanctioned an annual grant of ₹3 crore for the Jharkhand Hindu Trust Board and approved the formation of the Jharkhand State Legislative Forum of HIV-AIDS. Furthermore, the Jharkhand State Nationalized Primary Teacher Promotion Rules 2025 also received approval.
