    New Delhi: Chief Secretary Mr. Avinash Kumar reached the Jharkhand Pavilion on Tuesday. He paid floral tributes to the statue of Lord Birsa Munda and inaugurated the Jharkhand Day program by lighting a lamp. He specially appreciated this presentation of the state’s rich traditions, tribal cultural heritage, and development journey. He then reviewed all 32 stalls set up in the pavilion, where he appreciated the products presented by the artisans, entrepreneurs, and self-help groups of the state. He said that Jharkhand state is also showcasing the various dimensions of its development in this international trade fair. The current Jharkhand government is committed to making the state a leader in every sector. Giving equal priority to all three—our culture, tradition, and development model—we are rapidly developing modern and useful infrastructure in important areas such as education, health, roads, sports, drinking water, technology, and air connectivity. Our goal is to establish Jharkhand as a capable, prosperous, and future-oriented state.

    Jharkhand’s Cultural Diversity Impressive

    In the cultural evening organized at Natyashala Theatre, folk artists from Jharkhand mesmerized the audience with their traditional dance and music performances. These presentations, adorned with folk music and heritage, impressively highlighted the cultural diversity of Jharkhand.

    Audience Enjoyed Jharkhand’s Diverse Cultural Presentations

    On the occasion of Jharkhand Day, organized on the state’s Silver Jubilee, the amphitheater at Pragati Maidan was vibrant with the enchanting colors of Jharkhand’s folk culture. The audience enjoyed the diverse cultural presentations of Jharkhand, including the Chhau dance by Tapan Nayak and team from Jharkhand, Nagpuri dance by Kishore Nayak and team, Mundari dance by Sukram Pahan and team, Oraon dance by Shri Krishna Bhagat and team, and Paika dance by Shri Ashok Kachhap, which mesmerized the people.

    Institutional Stalls like Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board are Special Attractions

    This year, a unique blend of diversity and creativity is being seen in the Jharkhand Pavilion, where dozens of stall operators from the state are making a strong presence with their unique art and products. Along with traditional art stalls like Paitkar and Sohrai painting, institutional stalls like the Directorate of Fisheries, Chief Minister’s Small and Cottage Enterprise Development Board, Jharcraft, Palash Mart, and Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board are special attractions.

    Handicrafts and Products are Particularly Attracting Visitors

    In addition, many local entrepreneurs and artisans like Makbul Jadoopatia, Geeta Verma, Sandhya Singh Kuntiya, Anita Mandal, Anupa Kujur, Rajat Kumar Handloom, Aarti Devi Handloom, Amolina Saras, Om Creations, Aisha Handloom, Damu Bodra, Baby Kumari, Bogendra Paswan, and Shanti Vijay & Company, including Chotanagpur Craft, Mati Kala Board, Arman Carpet, Kariyatpur Brass, MVM Bhagima (JOHAR Ragi), People Tree are particularly attracting visitors with their handmade arts and products.

    The Jharkhand Day celebration presented a vibrant, inspiring, and dynamic picture of the state’s cultural heritage, artisans’ creativity, and the government’s development-oriented policies at IITF 2025. The Jharkhand Pavilion has once again emerged as a unique confluence of innovation, tradition, and progress this year.

    On this occasion, Industry Secretary Mr. Arwa Rajkamal, Industry Director Mr. Vishal Sagar, and other officials were also present.
