A tragic event has occurred in the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand where a man murdered his girlfriend and then committed suicide. The incident took place at a local fair.
The couple, who were from the same village, were attending a chariot fair when a disagreement escalated. The man, Jaynath Oraon, is alleged to have used a sharp object to kill his girlfriend before fleeing to a forest where he was found dead by hanging. The police have taken possession of the bodies and are investigating the matter.
