Bihar’s State Health Society (SHS) has initiated the recruitment process for Assistant Nurse Midwife (ANM) positions, with 5006 vacancies available. Online applications commenced on August 14th at 10 AM. The deadline for submitting applications is August 28th, 6 PM. Interested candidates should visit the official website: shs.bihar.gov.in.
The total number of vacancies is divided among categories: 4197 for HCS, 510 for RBSK, and 299 for NUHM.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a diploma in ANM from a recognized institution.
* Registration: Registration with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council is mandatory.
* Age Limit: Minimum age of 21 years as of August 1, 2025. The upper age limit is 40 years for Unreserved/EWS and OBC candidates. The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is 42 years.

3. Select the ANM Recruitment Notification.
4. Click on the ‘Apply’ link.
5. Complete registration and application form.
6. Upload required documents.
7. Pay the application fee and submit.

Selection will be through a Computer Based Test (CBT). A merit list will be created based on the CBT scores. The CBT will be a 100-mark exam with a 2-hour duration. More details are available in the official notification.
