The first ‘Jolly LLB’ movie was a significant success, largely thanks to the excellent performances of Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla. The sequel, starring Akshay Kumar, didn’t quite reach the heights of the original. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ brings together Warsi and Kumar, creating an ensemble that feels somewhat forced. The film doesn’t offer any particular charm. Director Subhash Kapoor is experienced in this genre, but the film’s script lacks the spark that made the first ‘Jolly’ so memorable. The courtroom drama seems contrived, favoring jokes over genuine satire. The film is more humorous than some other recent releases. Arshad and Akshay have enough comedic talent to make the film watchable. The humor feels forced and predictable. The narrative has inconsistent pitches. The film struggles to match the originality of the first film. The film does explore the legal system, but it prioritizes entertainment. Saurabh Shukla’s performance remains the best part of the movie.
