Mumbai. The film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has become one of the highest grossing films of this year. The film has done a business of 600 crores worldwide in just five days. The film’s earnings in India have reached 344 crores. The film’s earnings are expected to increase in the coming days.
In 5 days, the worldwide collection of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has crossed the figure of 600 crores. The way this film is earning, it can be guessed that its earnings will soon create many new records.
According to a report by Saccanilk, Prabhas’s film has collected more than 34 crores on the 5th day i.e. Monday. If we look at the 88 crores earned on Sunday, then this is a drop of about 60%. After making a bigger collection than normal on the weekend, it is very normal for big films to see such a drop on working days.
On the second day of its release, i.e. Friday, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned around 59.3 crores, according to that, the Monday collection of the film looks quite better. With the Monday collection, the net India collection of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in 5 days has now reached around Rs 344 crores.
The Hindi version of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ collected around Rs 40 crore on Sunday. While the Monday collection was around Rs 17 crore. The film which collected Rs 22.5 crore from the Hindi version on the first day, earning 17 crore on the fifth day is a great trend. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has now made a net collection of 128 crore in Hindi.
Talking about the characters, Prabhas has played the role of Bhairava while Deepika Padukone has played the role of Sumati, who is a strong woman and fights for the child growing in her womb. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of Ashwatthama in the film. Kamal Haasan has played the role of villain Yaskin while Disha Patani is playing the role of Roxy. Many stars are in special appearances in the film, including director Ram Gopal Varma, film maker SS Rajamouli, actors Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salman and actress Mrunal Thakur.
